Business Experience:
Joe has entrepreneurial experience
spanning over 39 years. He formulated and designed computerized
portfolio selection models for Ford Motor Credit Corporation,
Dearborn, Michigan as an independent contractor. He has
designed and implemented improvements in inventory control systems
at Hughes Aircraft Corporation, Material Division, Fullerton,
California (summer internship while at Sloan School of Management). He
was the founder & past-president of one of New England's
largest vending and amusement device company groups (1967-1993). He
has owned, managed, and developed a large real estate portfolio
of apartment buildings, condominium conversions, and commercial
space. Joe
was part owner and developer of two health care clinics in the
greater Chicago area (walk-in health service facilities). He
has extensive experience in the mobile home industry, convenience
stores, and strip mall development (family businesses). He
has been involved in the management & financing of numerous
restaurant & entertainment
businesses. He has owned & operated eleven family amusement
centers in New England and has acquired numerous smaller competitors
and merged them into his existing amusement, vending, and wholesale
cigarette business. After selling the vending business,
Joe founded Apex Boston Group, Inc. in 1994 - a small business
consulting firm with offices at 60 State Street, Boston, MA. He
used his extensive experience in business litigation & litigation
strategy as well as ongoing experience in business consulting
for small and closely held companies. He has been a lecturer
in sales, negotiation, & motivational training seminars.
Joe has extensive experience in the marketing of products through
networks. He has designed, written, and implemented software
systems currently in use in the vending industry and is expert
in HTML programming for high search engine ranking of web sites.
He founded Web Whizards of New England - a hosting, design,
database management and e-marketing firm. Joe
continues to provide expert testimony in fraud investigation
and arbitration. He was the author & publisher
of "ToTheTop" Newsletter (1994 - 2002).
Since 1995, Joe has assisted numerous
companies to grow sales and profitability, across diverse industries.
Since 2000, Joe has concentrated his efforts growing Web Whizards
of New England (originally part of Apex Boston Group, Inc.) and
as of late 2003, Web Whizards is dominant on the South Shore
and Upper Cape Cod.
Continuing Education:
Building on his academic credentials
in business, and over 39 years of cross industry experience,
Joe has attended seminars and taken courses in
real estate syndication, mortgage analysis, limited partnership & trust
formation and use, and asset protection. He attends
management, negotiation, Internet technology and sales seminars
on a regular basis. His current passion is the technical side
of website development.
